Annual costs for running the Maine Scholastic Chess season include US Chess Scholastic memberships for all players, waived entry fees at all tournaments, tournament rating fees, prizes, venue fees, and a variety of miscellaneous expenses incurred when organizing tournaments. The Maine Chess Association depends on the support of our chess community to provide a zero-cost chess experience to students. Thank you for your support.
